BRIEF GIST

Sub: Tender for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of DG set of the required specifications for Section-I of Gulmarg Gondola Project at Gulmarg, Kashmir on turnkey basis

Sealed tenders in the prescribed tender documents, by Registered Post, affixed with Rs. 10/- revenue stamp are invited on behalf of J&K State Cable Car Corpn. from original equipment manufacturers for design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of back up power supply system for Section-I of Gulmarg Gondola Project on turn key basis comprising of following machine:-

One B.B.C D.C motor installed at Kangdori 2.5 Kms. away from Gulmarg (uphill). (424 KW, 1600 RPM, 400 V, 1200 A). The proposed back up power supply system is to be installed at Gulmarg (altitude 2750 above m.s.l temperature range -250 C to + 300C). The back up power supply system has to take care of always varying load (passengers in cable car system) in either direction and also the regenerative power component when the downhill side is fully loaded and uphill side empty. The generation level has to be
11000 V.

Terms and conditions

1) The tenders should be accompanied with the earnest money equivalent to 2% of the total job value as per offer in the shape of CDR pledged to Managing Director, J&K State Cable Car Corpn. Tenders not accompanied with the earnest money shall be rejected.

2) The rates quoted should be firm and valid for atleast 180 days from the date of opening of tenders.

3) The tenders complete in all respects should reach office of the undersigned on or before 30-09-2002 upto 2 p.m through registered post.

4) The tenderers shall have to furnish upto date income tax clearance certificate while applying for purchase of tender documents.

5) Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned at Kursoo, Rajbagh, Srinagar against the cost of the tender documents @ Rs. 500/- in the shape of Demand Draft in favour of the undersigned and payable at Srinagar.

6) Tender documents can be obtained by post/speed post/courier against payment of Rs. 600/- by way of Demand Draft favouring Managing Director, JKSCCC payable at Srinagar.

7) The tenders shall be opened on 30-09-02 at 2.30 p.m in presence of the tenderers who choose to be present at the time of opening of tenders. The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.

8) The tender documents will be issued only after verification of the certificates of being the original manufacturer.

9) It shall be in the interest of the firm who are willing to participate in the bid to visit Gulmarg for better understanding of the subject. The parties who shall send their competent technical personnel to Gulmarg shall be provided all sort of assistance by J&K State Cable Car Corpn.
